Grizz is just the most cuddly, smiley, lovey guy you could ask for. I call him a big puddle of fur, because he is so silky soft, and enjoyable to pet. He lopes up to you, with his lovely gait and doesn’t just smile, he truly grins, and it’s pretty darn heartwarming. He’s got a great on/off switch, and while I’d describe him as the picture perfect “goofy” Golden, he’s actually an extremely smart boy, very biddable, and with a good nose on him. Grizz loves our kids, simply being with people, and swimming. To top it off, he’s just a handsome guy, we are thrilled with how he’s turned out as he’s grown. He’s the whole package!
Scout is simply just my whole heart. I’ve never known a dog before him that could so accurately interpret human emotions, then know the right thing to do, without taking on any anxiety or stress from his people. His temperament is truly remarkable in that way, and better yet, he produces puppies just like him. Scout has successfully produced puppies that have gone on to be trained ESA’s and service dogs. His sire was a phenomenal hunter, with a great nose on him. Our big boy has many of the same traits. One of his sillier traits is that he will knock you back a step if you’re not careful. He loves to come greet people by sitting right next to them, and wanting to be so close that he leans. With his big heavy body. He’s not forceful with it, so it’s pretty darn sweet. This guy just loves his people. He is extremely well rounded, with one of the best on/off switches I’ve ever seen, similar to his sire. Confident, yet loving like you’d want a Golden to be, loves to swim, retrieve, ride in the car, and best of all, snuggle with us. We are blessed to have this guy, and so thankful he passes his amazing personality on to his puppies!
Ryder was the cornerstone and true foundation male of our Denzil’s Farm. He retired in 2020 and crossed the rainbow bridge in early 2023, at nearly 14, from an age related leg injury.
Ryder had a gorgeous blocky head, full golden coat, feathers and mane, weighing in at 90 lbs even. With impeccable health testing, and wonderful genetics, he added to our breeding program for many years, and fortunately years to come through his offspring. Ryder was known for greeting everyone with a toothy golden grin spontaneously, but also on command, and had the most perfect bulletproof temperament you could ever want. Never distractible, he was incredible in terms of training as well. We love looking back at the countless families Ryder has added lovely puppies to. He brought joy to our family each day as treasured companion. Our hearts and lives will never be the same without him, but it gives us great peace to see his lineage bringing happiness to so many families.
